like casino trips of olde

I didn't think anyone offered this kind of casino trip anymore, but the Jersey Diner Restaurant (aka the diner by KMart) hosts a casino bus trip once a month, where they actually give you the cost of your trip when you get down there. Here's the lowdown:

The Jersey Diner Restaurant hosts a Casino Bus Trip the last Monday of every month. The cost is $28, which includes a complete dinner at the Jersey Diner starting at 4pm, the bus ride down to the Trump Plaza Hotel/Casino, leaving at 5pm, $25 in coins and a $5 food credit. Bus returns to diner at midnight.

Only 47 seats available, and tickets must be purchased in advance. For tickets or more info, see Jersey Diner cashier or call (856) 719-9339.

Next trip scheduled for
Monday, March 31, 2008

So, if the casino's your thing, check this trip out!

Wow, that is a great deal. You get more back then it even costs you.

I know there is a bus (Trolley Tours) that runs along Long Beach Island and goes to Atlantic City, but they only give you $15 or $20 when you get there so this is an even better deal since it even includes a complete dinner.

Yeah, I thought those kinds of deals went out in the 90's. I'm not much of a gambler, but for those that are, they should give it a go.

Yes, it seems to be a very good deal if you like going to the casinos.

It does sound like a good deal, but I always lose, so I don't go and midnight is past my bed time. :]

I was thinking the same thing about midnight, Judy. WAY past my bedtime during the week :)

On another note, today is the first day of spring (Rita's had free water ice :) Certainly didn't feel like spring today with the wind, but hopefully it will soon.
